- 25 Wellfleet Oysters, on the Half Shell
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1-2 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Strips of thin-cut bacon
Add butter Worcestershire Sauce and Balsamic Vinegar to a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat stirring frequently until mixture starts bubbling. Remove from heat and set aside.
Fry bacon until just before it becomes crispy. Remove from heat and dice.
Spoon Worcestershire, vinegar butter mixture over oysters top with the diced par cooked bacon.
Preheat at grill high heat. Place oysters on the grill, cover and cook for 3-5 minutes. Boom done.
*Can also be cooked in an oven, use a metal baking pan or pre-heated ceramic and broil at high heat for about 1-minute checking frequently. They are done when you see their juices bubbling.
Serve with a wedge of lemon and black pepper to taste or add a kick with a little hot sauce.
